The Gambia is in West Africa and tourists from India can visit Gambia, by applying at the Gambian High Commission and New Delhi for a months passport or through a travel agency, where you can apply online, then all you need is a valid passport and spending money, and The Gambia is known to be a cheap country in which to have a vacation. It has a Stalantic coastline and is also bordered by Senegal, and is world renowned for its abundant ecosystems, with many species of birds, as well as monkeys and hippos. If you want to see wildlife then the best time to visit the Gambia from India is between December and April as the dry season ensures that animals are generally to be seen clustered around watering holes.
